In case of fire, the door closes automatically to prevent flames from spreading from one area to another.<\/p>\n<h2>ERD10 or ERD11: what is the difference?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>ERD10 \u2014 FireGuard\u00ae<\/strong>: the standard rolling fire door. It blocks the spread of <strong>fire<\/strong> and carries certified fire ratings of up to 4 hours.<\/li>\n<li><strong>ERD11 \u2014 with SmokeShield\u00ae<\/strong>: the same door, additionally equipped with the SmokeShield gasket system compliant with <strong>UL 1784<\/strong> (&#8220;S&#8221; label).
